Terms and Conditions
Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing. By placing an order you agree to be bound by them.
1. Who we are
CSE Themes we designs and sells Shopify themes. We operate from Kuwait. You can reach us at info@csekw.com or +965 55368157.
In these Terms, "Theme" means any Shopify theme, template, section, snippet, code, documentation or related file sold or supplied by us. "You" means the person or business purchasing a Theme.
2. What you are buying
You are buying a licence to use a Theme, not ownership of it. We retain all intellectual property rights in every Theme, including its code, design, structure and documentation.
Themes are digital products. Nothing physical is shipped. After payment you receive a download link and installation instructions by email, normally within [minutes / 24 hours] of your order.
3. Licence
3.1 What your licence allows
A standard licence permits you to:
- Install and use the Theme on one (1) live Shopify store that you own or operate
- Install the same Theme on unlimited development or staging stores connected to that live store
- Modify the Theme's code and design for your own use
- Use the Theme for a commercial store, including one that sells products or services
3.2 What your licence does not allow
You may not:
- Install the Theme on more than one live store under a single licence. Each additional store requires an additional licence.
- Resell, redistribute, sublicense, lease, lend or give away the Theme or any part of it, whether modified or not
- Sell the Theme as part of a service, package or template of your own
- Publish the Theme's source code publicly, or upload it to any marketplace, repository or file-sharing service
- Remove or obscure any copyright or authorship notice in the Theme files
- Use the Theme to create a competing theme or template product
3.3 Agencies and developers
If you install a Theme on behalf of a client, the licence must be purchased for that client's store, and the client becomes the licence holder. One licence does not cover multiple client stores.
3.4 Extended licence
If you need to use a Theme across multiple stores or in a way not permitted above, contact us at info@csekw.com . Extended licences are available by agreement.
4. Demo content, images and fonts
Our live demos use photography, product names, prices and text purely to show the Theme's design. None of this content is included with your purchase. You are responsible for supplying your own images, product data and copy.
Fonts referenced in a Theme are either free/open-licence fonts or Shopify's own font library. Where a Theme supports a custom font, you are responsible for holding a valid licence for any font file you install.
5. Support
Every purchase includes 10 days of support from the date of purchase.
5.1 Support covers
- Installation help and setup questions
- Bugs, errors and faults in the Theme as delivered
- Clarification of the Theme's documented features
- Guidance on using the Theme's settings in the Shopify theme editor
5.2 Support does not cover
- Customisation, new features or design changes you request
- Third-party apps, plugins or code you or anyone else adds
- Problems caused by modifications you make to the Theme's code
- General Shopify platform issues, billing or account questions
- Hosting, domains, DNS, payment gateways or shipping configuration
- Content creation, product photography, translation or data entry
Support is provided in English and Arabic by email or WhatsApp, normally within [1–2 business days]. Paid customisation work may be available separately ask us for a quote.
6. Updates
We may release updates to a Theme to fix bugs, improve compatibility with Shopify, or add features. Updates released within 12 months of your purchase are free to download.
We do not guarantee that an update will be compatible with modifications you have made to your copy of the Theme. Applying an update to a customised theme may require work on your part, and re-applying your changes is your responsibility. We strongly recommend duplicating your live theme before installing any update.
We do not guarantee indefinite compatibility with future versions of Shopify, or with any third-party app.
7. Refunds
Because Themes are digital products delivered immediately, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds once a Theme has been downloaded. By completing your purchase you acknowledge this and, where applicable law grants you a cancellation or withdrawal period for digital content, you agree to waive it in exchange for immediate access.
We will consider a refund only where:
- The Theme is materially faulty or does not function as described, and
- You have reported the fault to us in writing within [14] days of purchase, and
- We have been unable to resolve the fault within a reasonable time
We do not refund because you changed your mind, bought the wrong theme, no longer need it, lack the technical ability to use it, or dislike the design after purchase. Every Theme has a free live demo please review it thoroughly before you buy.

8. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining your own Shopify account, plan and billing
- Backing up your store and your existing theme before installing ours
- Any content, products or claims you publish using the Theme
- Ensuring your store complies with the laws applicable to you, including consumer protection, privacy, tax and e-commerce rules in your market
9. Warranty and liability
Themes are provided as. We warrant that a Theme will function substantially as shown in its demo when installed on a supported, unmodified Shopify store. Beyond that, we make no warranties, express or implied.
We are not liable for lost profit, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, a Theme. Our total liability for any claim relating to a Theme will not exceed the amount you paid for it.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Termination
Your licence terminates automatically if you breach these Terms, in particular the restrictions in section 3.2. On termination you must stop using the Theme and delete all copies. No refund is due on termination for breach.
11. Privacy
We collect only the information needed to process your order and provide support your name, email, and order details. We do not sell your data. Payments are processed by Shopify and its payment provider (TAP PAYMENTS); we do not store your card details. See our Privacy Policy for more.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your purchase governs that purchase. Continued use of this site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kuwait.
